Jacinta Beehner is an associate professor at the University of Michigan and co-directs the Simien Mountains Gelada Research Project in Ethiopia and the Capuchins at Taboga Project in Costa Rica. With over 20 years of experience studying wild primates, her research focuses on reproductive strategies and sexual conflict. Dr. Beehner research skills are also in hormone extraction from fecal samples and has developed methods for remote fieldwork.Â
