This is a story about one man's decision to take the HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis, PrEP. But it is so much more. It is a story of love between a mother and son. It's a coming out story. It's a story about how trans-generational trauma can be turned into gratitude, resilience, and hope. It's a story about how the science of sex saves lives.

Rondell is a Legal Specialist at Georgia Justice Project. He attended Manchester High School, a performing arts school, where he was a vocal major. He then obtained the prestigious leadership-based Posse Foundation Scholarship to attend The College of Wooster, where he majored in Africana Studies with a minor in Philosophy. After graduating, he worked at a Non-profit organization called One Million Degrees as a Scholar Recruitment Coordinator.
Toya is a Surgical First Assistant for the Atlanta Metro Area. She was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia and is the mother of three boys. She started her career as a Surgical Technician.
